Mike Fontenot
Pastor
Mike is a Evangeline parish native and has been married to his wife Jessica for over 20 yrs. And they have been blessed with amazing kids, Jacob (wife Sara) and Katie. Mike is an outdoorsman and is just as comfortable behind a black pot as he is in the deer stand.
Mike was called to ministry at the age of 36 and has served for over 10 years in Student Ministry before being called to First Baptist Basile as Pastor. Mike is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and enjoys learning and serving. Mike is passionate about serving people and sharing the love of Christ that changed his life at the age of 30.
Terry Hoychick
Worship Leader
Terry is a hometown Basile native and is passionate about bringing glory to God through songs of worship. He is a dedicated husband and father who enjoys tennis and fishing. He has been a successful attorney for over 39 years and also serves as City Court Judge in Eunice, La.
He and his wife Angie have served as Worship Leaders at FBC Basile joyfully and faithfully for 7 years.
Mona Jenkins
Church Administrator
Mona is a dedicated wife and proud Mother and Grand Mother. She is an on fire believer in Christ and serves our church in many capacities. She enjoys studying the word of God and is a faithful prayer warrior. She loves spending time with family any chance she gets.
Mona and J.J. have been married for 16 wonderful years.

Vicky Fontenot
Children Ministry Leader
Vicky has been married to Roland for 45 years and they have been residents of Basile for over 40 yrs. They have two Children, Roland Jr (wife Ashley) and Jessica (husband Eddie Smith). They are proud grandparents to 5 amazing grandchildren. Vickie is passionate about ministering to children and loves to see children light up as they learn about God.
Vicky serves faithfully in all areas of Children's ministry, including Girls In Action (GAs), Vacations Bible School and heads up our Christmas Shoe Box program which helps provides meaningful basic needs for children around the world at Christmas time.
